We understand you will probably have some questions about our classes. Here are answers to our most frequently asked questions to help you understand who we are and what we do.

Q: Do your classes run during the school holidays?

A: Yes they do. We run our classes all year round. Please see our timetable for all times.

Q: I have no experience! Can I come along to one of your classes?

A: Definitely! We have beginners classes to suit those who are new to Pilates. We love introducing the practice to new practitioners, so please do come along.

Q: Do you offer classes other than Pilates?

A: Yes, we also offer bootybarre classes and lessons using the The Feldenkrais Method®. Our approach is more holistic than other Pilates studios – we want to help with your general wellbeing. Please contact us to find out more about how you can book into a class that’s appropriate for you.

Q: Do I need an assessment before my first class?

A: We always recommend an assessment when you are new to our studio and it is essential for some medical conditions. This allows us to look at your musculature and body alignment so we can make personalised recommendations for you and you can practise Pilates in a way that works for your body. Even if you have years of experience, we’d still recommend an assessment – it’s always beneficial to be able to understand more about your own body.

Ismini has undertaken Conscious Embodiment training with Zachary Dacuk, which allows her to carry out full body readings.

Q: Can I book a block of classes?

A: We always recommend that you book a block of classes. This allows you to make maximum progress as you will complete a course with the same teacher and other practitioners working at your level. We will discuss your booking options with you when you first come along to the studio.

Q: What is the treatment room used for at your studios?

A: We offer one-to-one The Feldenkrais Method® lessons, and have many different visiting professionals such as sports masseurs, osteopaths, physiotherapists, beauty therapists and complementary therapies. More information on upcoming visits is available in our studio.

Q: Are there any other facilities at your studio?

A: Yes, we have a lovely on-site café serving a range of refreshments. It’s all healthy, so you won’t have to feel any guilt popping in for a treat after your Pilates class! We also have a small retail area for activewear and small Pilates equipment.
